One more day

Well I head out to Springfield MO for SpyderFest 2015 at the crack of dawn tomorrow. This will be the first long trip on the F3-S. Forecast looks good. I'll be posting along the way.

Getting Ready

So I am getting ready for the long ride to Springfield MO. I do this trip every year to go to SpyderFest. It never fails I start to worry about the trip and the route I am going to take. Funny thing is I pretty much take the same route every year. But always look forward to it. First year was 2013 and I was on a 2012 RT AC. In 2014 I was on a 2014 RT-S pulling a 623 trailer. This year I'll be on the 2015 F3-S. Not a lot of storage on this one, and BRP saddle bags are on back order. It is what it is....  So as I was looking at my phone maps I opened up the fuel tracker I have been using since I got the 2014 RT-S and continue to use it with the F3-S to track the MPG I get. I am pretty happy with the miles per gallon I am getting. Here are some screen shots of the app.

I'll update when I get on the road.

Check back soon....

So it has been almost 2 weeks since I picked up the Can-Am Spyder F3-S.  I have to tell you this is the best Spyder to date.  When I first started in the Spyder world it was a 2012 Spyder RT SE5.  I then moved to the 2014 Spyder RT SE6 with the Rotax 1330 in it.  I thought at the time it was the one for me since the wife always rode with me.  The only times I was riding by my self was on the long hauls to SpyderFest in MO and SpyderQuest in NY.  Now that I have put almost 500 miles on the F3, I have to say this is the Spyder for me.  The 1330 in this is very quick and aggressive.  In the last 2 weeks I have put in the Wiredux Engine Light Kit, Installed the gauge and the Garmin GPS with F3 mount.  These are some of the needed things when you are doing long distance riding.  I do have 5 parts on order, to include a windshield.  That is going to be a must when headed to SpyderFest in a just over 5 weeks.  With out it, I think it is going to be a long and exhausting ride.  We will see how it plays out of I can get it in on time.  I am planning a trip to GA in just a few weeks (just over 500 miles).  Will see how I am after that trip without it.  When I get some time I will post pictures of the accessories that I have gotten a chance to install.

Stay Tuned......

It is here

So I picked up the F3 on Wednesday. Was a great ride of 240 miles from the dealer. The F3 is a great ride and I have to say it is the best ride I have had on a Spyder. BRP really got a home run with this one.  I have already been busy building LED kits for it.

Getting Excited

In just over 24 hours I will be taking delivery of the F3-S. Checked the weather and I could not have picked a better day to ride it home.

New Adventure

On Feb 28th 2015, I decided to trade in my 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT-S with RT-622 trailer for one of the new 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3S that just hit the street.  This blog is going to be all about the Can-Am Spyder F3S and the adventures that it takes me on.  I don't pick it up from the dealer until March 4th 2015.
